What did you like better – a V-shape or C-shape nursing pillow? Why?

30 Aug

I just can’t choose which one I’ll like more. I didn’t use one at all with my son, and want to get one with this next baby. The C-shape seems nice because you can use it to prop baby better, lacking it falling either way, but the V-shape seems nicer for nursing a larger baby, and also keeps your other arm a bit freer. (And I am small, so the size thing is not an issue, as I know it is for larger women who try to use the C-shape pillow.)

Thanks for sharing your attitude!

You may have probably started stocking your cupboard with breast pads, nursing bras or even button down shirts once you have got on to your third trimester. When you are being paid ready to feed your baby you can make your own small space which is custom designed for feeding.

This area can also reflect on your personality. If you are the kinds who like loud and friendly surroundings at the same time, then you can reckon of background up a corner in the family or the living room. Keep about two chairs for other family members to keep you company.

I need help sewing my own nursing pillow cover.?

27 Aug

I have a nursing pillow that someone gave to me, but I can’t find any covers for it. I want to sew my own cover, but I need help. I’m a total novice, so I would just like some guidelines or if there’s a website with some basic guidelines.

I have the cover, so I can use that as a pattern. The cover doesn’t have a closure, but I want to add a closure to the one I’m sewing. So if there are any tips you could give me so that my first attempt at this is pretty successful, that would be wonderful.

Creating A Comfortable Nursing Area – 5 Invaluable Tips

25 Aug

Once you have reached your third semester, you will have to start buying your breast pads, loose button down shirts and nursing bras for the months ahead. While preparing for breast feeding, you can make your own custom designed area for yourself. You want to make your nursing area reflect your own personality. If you rather a loud and friendly surrounding, you could set up in the corner of your family room or living room. Make sure that you keep a couple of chairs near you so that family members and friends can give you company.

If you want to have a silent and peaceful nursing area, an empty guest room or cozy study would be a excellent thought. You can dim the lights and close the door when you want if you want to take a couple of calming breaths while breast-feeding.

What kind of nursing pillow was on 16 and pregnant Season 2 Episode 1?

23 Aug

I just got done watching the first episode of season 2 , and when Jace got home he was place into a nursing pillow that I really loved. It looked just like a boppy pillow but it had a seat sort of thing to hold him on to it. I’m expecting a small one and I want to know where to find that pillow!

I’ve seen one called Le’ Cuddler Infant Support Pillow and it isn’t the one I like, so anyone know of any others?
I’ve looked at both target and walmart. Neither have the pillow.
Babies-r-us and Boppy.com don’t have them either.
